The family behind Granite Hearth

A family business, on purpose

Granite Hearth Home Performance is owned and run by one New Hampshire family. We started in 2012 doing insulation out of a single truck and added heat pumps because a tight, insulated house deserves the right heating system. We still answer our own phone.

Every person on our crews is our employee. We train them, we certify them, and we send the same people back to your house for the follow-up. No subcontractors, no lead-generation sites, no sales quotas.

Credentials that mean something

NHSaves Participating Contractor

Approved to deliver Home Energy Performance assessments and weatherization through NHSaves, the energy-efficiency program of Eversource, Liberty, Unitil and the NH Electric Co-op.

BPI Certified Staff

Building Analysts and Envelope Professionals certified by the Building Performance Institute test and diagnose the whole house before and after the work.

OSHA 10 and 30 Trained Managers

Every crew is run by an OSHA 30 trained manager, and every installer carries OSHA 10 training.

Family Owned and Operated

Owned and run by one New Hampshire family. The people who answer the phone are the people who stand behind the work.

How we work

• Test, do not guess: blower door and infrared on every assessment
• Written scope and price before scheduling, with the NHSaves rebate shown as a line item
• Drop cloths, HEPA vacuums and a cleaner house than we found
• Permits pulled, inspections scheduled, utility paperwork filed by us
• A walkthrough at the end and a phone number that still works a year later
