NHSaves® is the energy-efficiency program of New Hampshire's electric and natural gas utilities: Eversource, Liberty, Unitil and the New Hampshire Electric Co-op. Program eligibility requirements and restrictions apply. Rebate amounts are set by the utility program, depend on each home's assessment results, and are subject to change or cancellation while funding is available. Granite Hearth Home Performance is an independent contractor and does not sponsor or operate the NHSaves programs.

  • Fixes ice dams and drafty rooms
Insulation services

Heat pumps & mini-splits

Cold-climate ductless and ducted systems sized for the house. Heat in January, cool in July.

  • Rated for New Hampshire winters

Does your home qualify? Check in a minute.

Type your ZIP code, your heating fuel and the size of the house. We look up your utilities from the ZIP code, apply that utility’s cut-off, and tell you how much fuel a house your size has to use in a year to qualify.

How it works

From first call to certificate in four steps.

Home energy assessment

Blower door, infrared camera and a safety check of the heating equipment.

Plan and rebate approval

Scope, rebate and your share in writing. Nothing is scheduled until you say so.

Our crew does the work

Our own employees, usually one or two days, house left cleaner than we found it.

Test out and certificate

We retest, show you the before-and-after numbers and hand you the certificate.

Questions

Straight answers before you call.

Not here? Call (603) 555-0100. A person who has crawled through an attic will pick up.

How much does NHSaves cover?

On most projects 100% of air sealing and 75% of insulation, up to $6,000, with 0% or 2% financing for the rest. Your utility sets the exact figure from the assessment. See our NHSaves page.

Do I have to be an Eversource customer?

No. Eversource, Liberty, Unitil and the New Hampshire Electric Co-op all run NHSaves. Gas heat goes through your gas utility; everything else through your electric utility.

I heat partly with a wood stove. Does that count?

Yes. The program adds up every fuel the house burns, so a few cords a year often tips a borderline home over the line. The calculator above has a box for it.

Let's take a look at your house.

It starts with a phone call at no cost. We tell you plainly what the house needs, what NHSaves will cover and what the rest will cost, in writing, before anything is scheduled.
